Training
We specialize in real life situations as the foundation for puppy class and training plans at Goldnote Canine Services.
Our classes and private training are dedicated to helping you integrate a new puppy or older dog into your own living room, kitchen, veterinarian office visits, neighbourhood park outings, grooming shop appointments and many other common real life experiences.
We teach only positive re-enforcement methods of training and behaviour modification. Dominance and leader of the pack mentality are now a part of the past in dog training. We want to help you and your family develop a healthy working relationship with your pet based on trust, love and caring.
Teaching and training for dogs of all ages with a variety of needs is offered in group or private training settings. Our class size of five or six dogs ensures plenty of individual attention is provided. This allows us to make the most of our training time together.
Young people often make the best trainers in a family. We encourage families to attend any of our classes. This team approach fosters a consistent training environment for your dog or puppy while at home. Making it easier to produce a more reliable and predictable result for your family to enjoy. Be sure not to miss our Kid’z Zone training section information listed below.

PROGRAMS AND PACKAGES
Manners in Motion I

These settings become the springboard for developing you and your pet into a great team that will be welcomed anywhere! The basics of sit, lie down, coming when called, walking on lead, not biting, jumping up, meeting guests, socialization and noise sensitivity training are just a few of the topics covered in this six week program. A fifty page reference handbook is included in the registration fee.
Puppies as young as 10 weeks of age may join this class.
We also offer this and other classes for beginning dogs that are older but still require the basics.
6 lessons- $150, taxes included.

The addition of team building games make these classes especially fun for both you and your dog!

Kid’z Zone
We specialize in classes devoted to young people and their families. We offer all three levels of our “Manners in Motion” program designed especially for families with children. Young people are encouraged to do all the handling and training, participate or lead demonstrations and to answer or ask the questions. Parents are expected to attend as helpers, supervisors and observers. The real work will be performed by our young people. Watch out these kids can really smoke us “older folks” when it comes to training dogs.
Some simple yet practical safety restrictions apply to entry into these classes. Contact us for details and space availability.
6 lessons- $169.50, taxes included.

Preparation time may be longer or shorter so will be priced accordingly.
Rally Obedience

Introduction to Rally-O

At each station you execute a variety of activities posted on the individual station signs. You and your dog will love the relaxed nature of this fun sport as it builds an outstanding working relationship between you and your dog. Men, women and children of all ages love this “sport” whether they compete or just do it recreationally.
6 lessons- $135.60, taxes included
