Aria is an outstanding little package of great angles and effortless movement. Aria with professional handler Colin Brownlee made short work of obtaining her Conformation Championship in only four days of showing to finish with a Best of Breed win. Aria is now pursuing an obedience title with her best friend Judi Plewes.
Aria along with her flashy ring presence is a true retriever, proudly carrying her blanket whenever she can, sending raccoons up trees and leaving no squirrel unnoticed. Aria has a very soft manner and house presence that makes her a hit with all children and grownups who may want to cuddle on the couch.

Bunty is a key figure at Goldnote, greeting guests with a toy in her mouth as she sings excitedly. Bunty finished her Championship with ease with a combination of professional and breeder owner handler wins to her credit. Most notable was her Best of Breed win pictured above and her making the cut in a very large class of Specials at the Golden Retriever Specialty show in Vineland, Ontario. She has been an excellent producer of sound dogs of beautiful British Type. Bunty is as at home in the show ring as she is lying under a blanket having grandchildren reading to her. Bunty is now retired to enjoy Dogwood Farm's 21 acres following her last litter in the the summer of 2009. She continues to live on in her beautiful offspring of Sons, Daughters and Grandchildren.

Vicky is a loving soul! What better commentary on a Golden could one ask for? She thinks every family comes only to visit her. Vicky's blended British and American pedigree produced her very light honey coloured coat and her slimmer athletic features and smaller stature that remains correct to the breed standard. Vicky loves to play ball, swim and keep an eye to birds and rabbits.

Lily is the biggest "Happy Bum" going! A good "old fashioned" golden temperament to be sure.
Lily makes herself at home in any situation but is happiest travelling back and forth between Dogwood Farm and Collingwood with her best pal Judi. Lily completed here Rally Novice title easily under Judi's guiding hand and for fun obtained five high in class standings along the way.
Lily seemed also to think the Canine Good Neighbour certification test was designed just for her to meet new people and other dogs in interesting situations. We didn't bother to tell her she passed, she knew that already.

Sempre opens a new chapter in obedience work for Goldnote by obtaining a Canine Good Neighbour working title under the guiding hand of Goldnote’s best friend Judi Plewes. We look forward to additional working titles and the completing of her Conformation Championship soon. Sempre is a great companion dog that never tires of staying close to receive affection from guests young or older. If you see her in the park be certain to say hello as she doesn’t understand why some people don’t stop to pet her.

Spirit shares the spotlight with Sempre in attaining her Canine Good Neighbour title in anticipation of doing therapy work for churches, schools and nursing homes. “Dad” and Spirit will be working again shortly on finishing a Conformation Championship after placing well at the National Specialty. In her spare time Spirit likes to seek out children in crowds and “borrow” the occasional ball from pick-up games.
